too much time on the internet.

Last night I dreamed that I attended dinner somewhere (I don’t know where), but Jane Espenson was there and she made miso soup and it was pretty good. Felicia Day and Kim Evey were also there.  I have been spending too much time on the internet.

You would think that since I spent the hour prior to going to bed at the Council of Elrond there would have been an appearance from Aragorn and Co.  Strange.

Possibly one of these days I will post photos of the kilt (with pleats) I am making out of some holographic Star Wars playing cards we saw at the store.  Pro: It will definitely be the coolest kilt made out of Star Wars playing cards at the Dragon*Con ABC Party this year.  Con: they’re Episode I cards.

I’m making an ensemble for myself out of World of Warcraft trading cards. There’s going to be a lot of Murlocs.

So, I’ve been working from home for a little over 4 months lately.    What I do specifically is something like “internet detective.”   I hunt people down using the interwebs, then call them and ask them questions, and send them fun (read:major pain in the ass) paperwork in reference to a litigation.  I am in my apartment the majority of the day, Monday through Friday, as Matt is usually at work from 8:30 or so in the morning til usually about 9:30 at night.   I spend most of my time alone.  I have noticed an increase in talking to myself.  Everyone talks to themselves at least to some degree, but its starting to get out of control.  Like having full on conversations with nobody.  I am starting to wonder if talking to myself is keeping me sane from the extreme loneliness of my life, or if it is indicative of a descent into madness.  It is weird.

Why is it that when Republicans and Democrats need to solve the budget and the deficit, there’s deadlock, but when Hollywood lobbyists pay them $94 million dollars to write legislation, people from both sides of the aisle line up to co-sponsor it?
